Hello! My name is Joan Jett. I’m a tippy-tapping 55lb Cattle/Coonhound goofy girl. I was surrendered due to domestic problems but am ready to give a new family lots of love and attention, No cats please! I would prefer to play with lots of other dogs & kids in my new family. I have lots of energy and will need to play for a couple hours each day. Zooming around the yard, chomping sticks, greeting the neighbors- I love it all! My strengths are my optimism, cuddle-aficionado, adventurous personality, and I always a smile on my face. I love dancing, walking, and running with my foster family! And after all the play, I will want to chew on bones and crash on the sofa with you. I am crate-trained, house-trained, and know basic commands. Vets and new people make me suspicious, but I warm up quickly when offered hugs and ear scratches. I appreciate long naps in the crate and will sleep quietly there during the night, but have some issue with being kenneled. I also had a previous hip injury that requires some rest occasionally, but it’s not a problem most days.
