Go tiny or go home! If that’s your motto, then I might be the dog for you! My name is Edie, I’m a Chihuahua, and I weigh about 6lbs. I’m 8 years old. I was homeless for a bit, and now I’m soaking up all the amenities in my foster home. My crate is my safe space at night and when my foster parents leave during the day. Potty training is mastered but keep in mind that I can only hold so much in this tiny body!

I pride myself in keeping the home secure so slow introductions are always a good idea. Also, daily belly rubs and ear scratches are definitely required. If your hands are idle, I will push my head underneath your hand to get my point across. The vet said that my heart is a bit enlarged so I’m on lifelong medicine to help with that. This is apparently common with tiny dogs such as myself. Right now my only restrictions are to avoid long durations in the heat and to avoid strenuous cardio (and let’s be honest – how many Chihuahuas partake in strenuous cardio anyway?)

If you think we’d be a good match, I’d love to meet you!
