Hi friends! My name is Axel, and I am a 60-pound, 1 to 3 year old border collie/lab mix. I am house broken and well trained—I know how to walk well on a leash, sit, shake, high-five, get down, and I’m working on rolling over! My foster parents tell me that I am a great listener, smart, and very handsome! I get along well with my feline foster sister, and I am learning to play with my doggy foster brother, however I would really like a home without other dogs so I can be the center of attention! I am definitely a “people dog”, so my new family will be my best friends! I also probably need to be in a home with older teenage children. I can become stressed out when I feel confined or restricted, so I’d do best in a home without small children and in a home where I can roam around freely (I don’t like crates, they scare me). My favorite thing to do is cuddle with my foster parents, and they tell me that I am a sweet, goofy boy. Now I am just hoping to find my forever home with new best friends that can give me endless belly rubs!
